Dubbo: The Western Jungle Co

Our first baby ‘The Western Jungle Co’ is where it all began, emanating from our own inability to find any indoor plants to purchase in Dubbo. With a lack of quality and pricing through the roof, our founder was selling and swapping cuttings from a small garage as a side hobby to give the public access to lovely, well-priced plants. Through her experience in E-Commerce, Chelsea created a website to start trading, and our first sale went viral in our small country town, selling out within 20 minutes. Soon after this we began trading weekly, having flash plant sales online. We then birthed the idea of the first Indoor plant click + collect website. As business grew and we became popular amongst some of the biggest names in indoor plants, our second branch was born and we moved into our first ever public nursery. The Western Jungle Co has now been operating for four years and has expanded to 17+ delivery locations.

Our Dubbo is open for visiting from Tuesday-Saturday between 8am and 1pm.
We are located at 64 Palmer Street, Dubbo (inside The Harvest Central West).

Cairns: The Northern Jungle Co

Our second branch of The Jungle Plant Co is based in tropical Far North Queensland. We chose Cairns because of the tropical climate and year-round access to some of the best plants in Australia. Local growers from Far North Queensland are an important staple in our business and we love to continue to support them and give back to the community. Our mission statement has always been to provide plants in any way we can, regardless of location and normal nursery hours. Courier services extend outside of Cairns, including to our northern neighbours in Weipa and Cooktown to make sure that wherever you are, we can give you the best quality, at your convenience!

We are open for sample viewings every Saturday between 9am and 12pm. If you’re a local business wanting to spruce up your workspace or office we’d also love to work with you to bring the peaceful plant-filled space of your dreams. We offer a variety of services including workshops, plant sitting, plant hire, and redecorating.
