Crisp, elegant, and absolutely stunning in the shade, Caladium ‘White Christmas’ is a timeless angel wings variety loved for its large white leaves marked with bold green veining. The contrast is striking and instantly brightens darker corners, making it perfect for shaded garden beds, tropical underplanting, patio pots, and indoor plant styling where you want that fresh, high-impact look.
Thriving in warm, humid climates like FNQ, ‘White Christmas’ grows quickly through the warmer months and produces a lush flush of new leaves when kept consistently moist. It’s one of the best caladiums for creating that bright “glow” effect in a jungle garden.
🪴 Planting tip: Prefers bright filtered light to shade. Keep soil consistently moist but free-draining, and protect from harsh direct sun and strong wind. Loves humidity and warmth, and may go dormant in cooler weather.
🌸 Flowering: Small, occasional flowers may appear, though foliage is the main feature.
